Job Details for Processing Room Manager:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Pay Rate: $20 - $24 an hour ( depending on experience )
  • Temp to Hire

Job Responsibilities & Description for Processing Room Manager:

  • Responsible for job performance, discipline and overall management of the cutting room personnel.
  • Ensures proper quality and standards of all product/supplies.
  • Maintain records of gross/net weight of fish product entering and leaving the room.
  • Keep record of all the seafood inventory.
  • Ensure proper storage of supplies as per the food and safety regulations.
  • Work with USDA and FSIS to ensure cleanliness and hygiene requirements of the work area and the cutting knives and equipment.
  • Minimize waste of fish product/supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements for Processing Room Manager:

  • High school graduate or a GED equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Must possess supervisory/management skills for 10+ employees.
  • Must have basic knowledge on fish/other seafood and the seafood industry.
  • Should possess good communication skills for interacting with personnel and customers.
  • Should possess basic computer skills, email, and phone system.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. without restrictions
  • Fish Cutting Skills
