Details for Mortgage Closer:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:30PM
  • Pay Rate: $16-$18 Based on Experience

Job Responsibilities & Description for Mortgage Closer:

  • Responsible for ensuring that VA, FHA, or conventional post closing requirements are met, including remittance of the insurance premium or funding fee, and shipping loans in anticipation of receiving a Loan Guaranty Certificate or Mortgage Insurance Certificate.
  • Ensures that all closed loans, including conventional and government, are properly documented and comply with Regulations B, C, X, and Z. Also ensures that closed loans are in compliance with FDPA with regards to Flood Zone certification, as well as Federal and State laws, Credit Committee and other Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and activate PMI. Navigate through PMI websites.

Job Requirements for Mortgage Closer:

  • Prior experience in real estate lending required.
  • FHA and VA first mortgage experience required.
  • Real estate lending or financial experience in post closing preferred.
