Details for Maintenance Mechanic:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday; all shifts available
  • Starting Pay Rate: $20
  • Contract to Permanent

Job Responsibilities & Description for Maintenance Mechanic:

  • Inspect and test machinery and equipment
  • Detect malfunctions and discuss with supervisors to diagnose problem or repair machine
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery and equipment
  • Install and repair electrical components; transformers, breakers, switches, receptacles, wiring, etc.
  • Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
  • Complete preventative maintenance on equipment

Job Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic:

  • Must have industrial maintenance mechanic or maintenance technician experience
  • Basic experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, 3 phase electrical
  • Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
