PeopleShare is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work in East Brunswick, NJ.

Job details for the Logistics Coordinator:

  • Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour
  • Location: East Brunswick, NJ

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring orders are received, packed and shipped to customers in a timely manner. This position will involve both administrative and physical work.

Key job functions:

  • Monitor shipments and interact with customers regarding order status, resolve carrier and shipment issues
  • Interact with 3rd party logistics companies and analyze bids and costs to identify cost saving shipping options
  • Manage back orders and inventory control
  • Work in various database systems including WMS, UPS, FedEx to process orders, track shipments and maintain customer accounts
  • Assisting with physical operations in the warehouse when required including packaging, shipping and forklift operation

Job Requirements for the Logistics Coordinator:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business or logistics
  • 2 years of related experience working in logistics
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and detailed
