PeopleShare is seeking qualified candidates for a Legal Assistant in Lancaster, PA!

  • Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm
  • Pay Rate: $16
  • Contract to hire

Job Responsibilities & Description for Legal Assistant:

  • Welcomes clients and guests in person or by phone in a professional manner
  • Compose and proofread letters and memos being sent out
  • Assist in preparing the attorney for presentations
  • Filing and maintaining confidential documents
  • Prepare and assemble documents for court appearances, hearings, and settlements
  • Maintain attorney calender and handles scheduling
  • Inputting and documenting billing for attorney; assist with billing.

Job Requirements for Legal Assistant:

  • Understanding of legal terminology
  • Able to follow detailed instructions
  • Skilled typing abilities
  • Transcription
  • Knowledge or formatting and composition of business letters, minutes and reports.
  • Litigation experience highly preferred with experience in Common Pleas and Federal filing
  • Experience in estate planning is required
