PeopleShare is seeking qualified candidates for a Legal Assistant in Center City, Philadelphia!

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30-5:30
  • Pay Rate: Open for best candidate
  • Temp to Perm

Job Responsibilities & Description:

  • Transcribing, formatting, editing and finalizing all forms of documents and correspondence.
  • Opening new files, file set up, creating and updating glance sheets and litigation profiles as needed.
  • Electronic fillings in state and federal courts.
  • Maintaining and calendaring upcoming trial dates and all corresponding status notes.
  • Managing incoming mail, entering daily time entries, submitting vendor invoices for payment.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience assisting attorneys in complex litigation areas such as employment & labor (title 9), white collar federal litigation, government enforcement & compliance, and commercial litigation.
  • Experience with both State and Federal courts, including knowledge of CM/ECF filing.
  • Experience with iManage & Prolaw a plus.
