PeopleShare has an excellent opportunity for a HR/Payroll Administrator in the Elverson area!

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
  • Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00hr
  • Temp-Hire

Job Responsibilities & Description:

  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis for two US companies, as well as our Canadian affiliate using our third party provider, Paylocity/ADP and our time and attendance module, Web Time/EZ Labor.
  • Track vacation and sick leave for all employees.
  • Administer employee benefits such as health/dental/vision, FMLA, disability leave (short and long term disability), workers' compensation, 401(k), flexible spending plans, tuition reimbursement, etc.
  • Acts as a liaison between employees, brokers and insurance providers to resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations
  • Ensures plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and plan provisions are followed
  • Process workers' compensation claims, including accident reports after the injury in coordination with the regulatory department
  • Provide new hire orientation and process unemployment claims
  • Assist employees in filing disability and FMLA claims.
  • Assist with obtaining credit cards for employees, as well as processing insurance claims for company cars
  • Providing the accounting department with prompt closing reports for the end of the month/year (RRSP, 401K, fringe benefits, etc.
  • Schedule pre-employment and exit physicals, as well as annual physicals for eligible employees and file the annual EEO-1 report.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years' experience with processing payroll and employee benefit
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with FMLA, COBRA, and related state and federal regulations a plus
  • Experience with payroll laws and regulations and administering employee benefit plans is highly desired
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to work independently
