PeopleShare has an excellent opportunity for a Health Insurance Customer Service Representative in Allentown, PA!

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday. Varying 8 hour shifts during business hours of 7am-11pm
  • Pay Rate: $13.50/ hr plus performance incentives. Overtime available at $20.25 for every hour worked over 40 hours.
  • Job type: Temp to hire opportunity

Job Responsibilities & Description:

  • Respond and resolve customer inquiries and issues over the phone
  • Help guide and educate customers about maximizing the value of their benefits and best options for managing their health
  • Provide education and status on previously submitted pre-authorizations or pre-determination requests
  • Meet performance goals in the areas of: call quality, customer satisfaction, efficiency, first call resolution, and attendance.

Job Requirements:

  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to use Windows PC applications and strong keyboard and navigation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, determine immediate requests, and identify current and future needs of the customer
