PeopleShare is seeking qualified candidates for a Forklift Mechanic/Forklift Technician in North Brunswick, NJ!

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift / 7am-4pm (can be flexible)
  • Pay Rate: $15-30/hour depending on experience
  • Temp to hire opportunity

Forklift Maintenance Responsibilities & Description:

  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electric forklifts and industrial parts
  • Complete thorough inspection of forklifts and document/report all findings
  • Work on electrical systems (AC & DC) and internal combustion engines
  • Manage inventory and parts/tools needed. Order new supplies or notify manager of needed supplies
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work space

Forklift Maintenance Requirements:

  • Previous experience with forklift maintenance or repairs
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and training manuals
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs (occasionally more), bend, walk, and stand for a shift
  • Candidates with industrial mechanic experience and some forklift troubleshooting will be considered
