Job Details for Band/Plate Saw Operator:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm OR 8am-4pm
  • Pay Rate: $18-26 DOE
  • Full-time, contract to hire position

Job Responsibilities & Description for Band/Plate Saw Operator:

  • Take primary responsibility for operation and maintenance of the bar saw machine in your section.
  • Perform daily, weekly and monthly maintenance as needed
  • QC and inspection of finished parts which vary from order to order
  • Use calipers and measuring devices to ensure parts are within tolerance
  • Utilize forklift to pull material/put finished goods away
  • Other duties as needed

Job Requirements for Band/Plate Saw Operator:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years prior experience operating a plate or bar saw (stainless steel/nickel alloy)
  • 1+ year(s) prior experience operating an overhead crane
  • 1+ year(s) prior experience operating a forklift
