Job Description

PeopleShare has an excellent opportunity for a Benefits Administrator in Marlton, NJ!

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday/9 A.M. to 5 P.M./full-time
  • Pay Rate: $17-$18
  • Contract to Hire

Principal Responsibilities

  • Generate, review and deliver monthly HIF billing invoices
  • Works with HIF team/client/enrollment vendor to resolve all billing discrepancies and enrollment system processing discrepancies.
  • Communicates with Managers on client's service-related issues.
  • Trains the clients on the enrollment system and answer questions related to entry, assists with system enrollment discrepancies and corrections, related to entry.
  • Provide support and assistance to HIF Employee Benefit Specialist as needed.
  • Sends HIF correspondence out to member groups as requested from Program Manager.
  • Reconciliation of discrepancy reports from the weekly EDI carrier file transfers.
  • Works with COBRA / Retiree vendor and client to resolve cobra or direct bill issues.
  • Handles Medicare Advantage application processing including but not limited to: multiple mass mailings, processing of applications that return in bulk and preparation of packets and contents as needed.
  • Maintains strong business relationships with clients, vendors and brokers.
  • Enters electronic file enrollments for assigned HIF clients as needed
  • Accounts Payable Verification and Reconciliation of DMO Dental Plan Invoices and communicate discrepancies to PERMA internal point of contact.
  • Special projects as assigned by Management.
  • Work with carriers, clients, brokers and HIF Benefit Consulting team to resolve enrollment and eligibility issues and answer all eligibility related questions.
  • Review and confirm weekly LOC/COBRA Report to confirm eligible participants.
  • Manages student status verification process.
  • Tracks and reports results of dependent audits.
  • Works with reinsurer and vendors to obtain additional information from client or member when needed.
  • Generates and reviews various system reports and take necessary actions to resolve any issues that are discovered.
  • Coordinates the age-in process for Medicare Advantage and all associated tasks.
  • Provide Customer Service-order carrier ID cards for group members, and provide Temporary ID Card resources to group contacts for members.

Requirements

  • Minimum two year's industry related service experience
  • New Jersey Health Producer License
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to focus in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to travel to client work sites when needed.
  • Excellent math skills; basic accounting knowledge is required.
