Job Description

PeopleShare is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Shift Supervisor with a manufacturing company in Trenton, NJ! This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in injection molding manufacturing to gain supervisory experience. It is a hands-on role with heavy machine work.

  • Schedule:
    • 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm OR
    • 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:00am
  • Pay Rate: $17-22/hour

Job Responsibilities & Description:

  • Support shift supervisor and plant manager by overseeing machinery on the shift
  • Set up machines for shift production and perform changeovers as directed
  • Monitor machines to ensure minimal downtime; Document and report any downtime or issues
  • Assign and supervise employees, ensuring production schedule and procedures are followed
  • Train new employees on machines

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in injection molding
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve and remain organized
