We have an Accounting Assistant opportunity available for a client in West Windsor, NJ to assist in coverage for a leave! Estimated time frame is about 3 months but there is the possibility of the role turning into a temp to hire, long term opportunity. Our client has a high energy environment with a community/team focus.

The main duties are to assist in the Accounts Payable (AP) process, mostly in the area of invoicing and data entry. Must be comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and have excellent communication skills. You will be working within MS Excel, QuickBooks Online and internal custom software. Will also assist in other accounting support and general clerical functions as needed.

Job Requirements for Accounting Assistant:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working within accounting / Accounts Payable
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (intermediate level)
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries preferred
  • Exposure to QuickBooks preferred

Job Details for Accounting Assistant:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm
  • Pay Rate: $14-15/hour
  • Temporary role with possibility of permanent hire
