Job Details for Staff Accountant:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Pay Rate: $25-$27 per hour based on experience
  • Contract to hire

Job Responsibilities & Description for Staff Accountant:

  • Perform daily accounting functions including journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist in cash application and payables processing
  • Assist in tax return processing and issue resolution
  • Perform audits

Job Requirements for Staff Accountant:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an accounting role, prior experience in a corporate environment preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products, intermediate level in Excel
