Knowledge of other accounting practices and areas is preferred.

Exceptional candidates will have experience working within Quickbooks or ERP systems.

Details of the Temporary Accounts Payable Role:

  • Schedule:Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm - Flex Hours- 8 hours per day
  • Pay Rate: $16-$18.65 per hour based on experience
  • Temporary role- minimum 3 months+

Job Responsibilities of the Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • Check, verify and process invoices and payments
  • Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
  • Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
  • Maintain vendor files
  • Process expense reports, exporting file & verify for import to accounting software
  • Code, post and receipt payments
  • Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
  • Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
  • Update and issue weekly/monthly sales reports
  • Reconcile balances with GROUP/related companies

Job Requirements of the Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist:

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
  • Quickbooks experience performing accounts payable
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking is preferred but is not required
