Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a part time Receptionist in Lawrenceville, NJ! We are seeking a professional, outgoing and pleasant candidate to be the front face of an insurance company. Must present a high level of customer service both over the phone and when greeting visitors. The Receptionist will also be responsible for assisting with clerical tasks so must be comfortable working with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Part time schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 8:30am-5:00pm (24 hours per week)

Job responsibilities for the Receptionist include (but are not limited to):

  • Answering phones - can be high volume at times, depending on the day
  • Responding to basic inquiries, taking messages and transferring calls to appropriate party
  • Greeting guests upon their arrival, serving as the face of the company and making a positive first impression
  • Assisting with clerical and administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, meeting support, and scheduling (among others)

Job requirements for Receptionist:

  • This is a professional/corporate working environment - Must be articulate and present well
  • Pleasant, warm and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Experience in a receptionist or forward facing administrative role in a corporate or similar environment required
  • Experience working with MS Outlook, Word and Excel (intermediate)

Additional details:

  • Pay Rate: $15-16/hour
  • Temporary, with the potential to become permanent
