Job Details for Quality Technician:

  • 2-2-3 Schedule/ 2nd shift
  • Pay Rate: $13.00-14.00
  • Temp/TTP/DH

Job Responsibilities & Description Quality Technician:

  • Gathering and testing of in-process and finished product for wet chemistry and organolepic testing. Perform weight checks, package appearance, metal detection, vacuum, label and code date verification
  • Gathering and organizing micro and retained samples
  • Communicates results of problems to appropriate departmental or operating personnel. Assist in trouble shooting and investigating production issues
  • Makes batch adjustments to meet customer specification when necessary
  • Performs and documents calibration checks. Maintains lab cleanliness, make sure supplies are replenished
  • Promote food safety, other duties as assigned

Job Requirements Quality Technician:

  • Chemistry training preferred, good math, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and be a self-starter
  • Excellent teamwork and good interpersonal skills
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • Manufacturing lab environment experience preferred, minimum 1 year of experience
