Details of Procurement Specialist Role:

  • M-F 9am-5pm or 10am-7pm
  • $16-$17/hr

Procurement Specialist Job Description:

  • Interact with vendors and manage/resolve escalated vendor issues
  • Prepare purchase orders and provide copies for suppliers and other involved departments
  • Maintain price lists and purchase orders in the database
  • Send contracts to vendors and approve vendor bills for payment
  • Locate new vendors and compare prices

Qualifications of Procurement Specialist:

  • Prior procurement experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred; High School Diploma required
