We are actively seeking a Paralegal for one of our law firms here in Newport News, VA!

Job Details for Paralegal:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
  • Pay Rate: $20 an hour
  • Temp/Hire

Job Responsibilities & Description for Paralegal:

  • Assist with the Litigation Attorney
  • Supports lawyers
  • Maintain & draft documents
  • Organizing files
  • Calling on legal witnesses
  • Maintaining a legal library

Job Requirements for Paralegal:

  • Associates degree in paralegal studies or a bachelor's degree in another field
  • Certificate in paralegal studies
  • Passionate and strives for excellence
  • Experience in a law firm, but not required.
  • Extremely organized and has the ability to manage a significant amount of documents and number of client matters at one time.
  • Very motivated and desires to learn
  • High level of competence using technology (such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat) an understating of Microsoft Excel, and is eager to learn more about technology.
