Job Description

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Cranbury, NJ seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team on 2nd shift! Some experience with repairs and PMs in a manufacturing environment preferred but training is also available for more entry level candidates with some exposure to maintenance work or with mechanical aptitude.

  • Schedule: Both 1st and 2nd shift available
    • 1st shift: 7:00am-3:00pm
    • 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
  • Pay Rate: $21.00-26.00/hour depending on experience
  • Temp-to-Hire opportunity

Maintenance Mechanic Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs on all manufacturing machinery, facilities and utilities
  • Preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical functions
  • Comply with all safety procedures
  • Coordinate with maintenance manager on repairs and improvements
  • Place requisitions for items that need to be ordered for repairs
  • Troubleshoot AC-DC-PLC motors, systems and controllers

Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements:

  • 1-8 years of related work experience
  • Vocational or trade school degree in related field of study preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical processes
  • Ability to read and work off of prints
  • Able to work varying schedules and weekends as required by business need
