Job Description

A large well known American cable television network is seeking a temporary Human Resources Assistant to cover a maternity leave! This is a great opportunity for candidates with some experience in staffing or human resources that are interested in working for a well known, innovative company!

Job Details for the Human Resources Assistant:

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM OR 9AM-5PM
  • Pay Rate: $24/hr
  • Temporary (December 2019-March 2020)

Job Responsibilities & Description for the Human Resources Assistant:

  • Track candidates submitted for open contractor positions
  • Coordinate and set up candidate phone screen, video, and on-site interviews with internal hiring managers and staffing companies
  • Take details of new job requisitions and send email notice to preferred staffing agencies
  • Monitor and manager email mailbox to track candidate submissions

Job Requirements for the Human Resources Assistant:

  • Must have experience in working with staffing agencies or external vendors for staffing solutions
  • Previous experience working in an Information Technology field is a plus but not required
  • Must be customer service focused and must have strong communication skills
  • A human resources of staffing/recruiting background is preferred
