Our client in Chesapeake, a major paper manufacturer, is looking to hire FT Machine Operators. This position is an entry-level position with advancement opportunities. It requires scheduling flexibility, self-motivation, mechanical aptitude, excellent team skills, and good communication and math skills. Successful candidate will play a role on team in meeting safety and production targets, maintenance activities and housekeeping.

Job Details for Machine Operators:

• Schedule: FT 12 hour rotating shift, 2 weeks day shift /2 weeks night shift, 6am-6pm & then 6pm-6am
• Pay Rate: $13.00
• Dress Code: Steel Toe Shoes/Boots
• Temp To Hire

Job Responsibilities & Description for Machine Operators:

• Machine Operators will be recycling scrap into fluff
• Operate machines
• Machine operators will assist with finishing, packaging, maintenance, and quality checks of product
• Responds to line upsets to assist read forming with securing the forming line

Job Requirements for Machine Operators:

• At least 1year prior production or manufacturing experience
• Excel experience is a plus
• Machine Operator must be able to work rotating shifts
• Shift rotates every 2 weeks
• Forklift experience a plus
