Job Details for Continuous Improvement Engineer:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
- Pay Rate: $65,000 - $80,000 annually
- Direct Hire
Job Responsibilities & Description Continuous Improvement Engineer:
- Lead and support Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing and Quality Engineering Activities
- Manage and Improve the existing operation for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savings through Lean teams
- Perform time studies as required
- Optimize labor resources
- Provide coaching and training to achieve continuous improvement goals
- Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of processes
- Manage, Organize, Implement and maintain production process flow
- Design, develop and test and/or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
Job Requirements Continuous Improvement Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering required
- Minimum of 5 years related experience required
- Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Proficient with CAD and CAM
- Experienced with CNC machine programming
- Experience with AutoCAD, ProE, Virtual Gibbs or similar programs
- Lean Six Sigma experience is required
