Machine Operators
PeopleShare is hiring for Machine Operators in Virginia Beach. Our client is a global manufacturing company who is working hard to grow operations in the US.
Previous Manufacturing a plus but this is an entry level job and a great opportunity to be a part of the company's growth!
Job Details for Machine Operators:
- Schedule: (A Shift) Monday - Thursday 8AM - 8PM
- Pay Rate: $12.33/hr
- Temp to Perm
Job Responsibilities & Description for Machine Operators:
- Measure material bales for accuracy & lift bales using a lift machine
- Operate mechanical hoist and use a pallet jack
- Work with a conveyor belt system
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Starts and stops machines and complies with emergency stops as well as test operation of machines
- Maintain machine logbooks and records for inspections per SOP
Job Requirements for Machine Operators:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for long periods of time
- Work will involve some repetitive motions to include frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of products and product containers
- Due to the environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
- Utilize various equipment as needed to perform duties
